Growing up in Monmouth County, NJ, Dr. Robert Scheddin was self-conscious about his smile. Improving his teeth not only boosted his confidence but reshaped how he saw himself and how others saw him. This life-changing transformation inspired him to pursue dentistry and commit his career to helping others achieve the same confidence through their smiles. His journey as a former patient allows him to relate deeply to those he serves. He meets every patient with empathy, kindness, and a commitment to excellence.

Dr. Scheddin
Elite Educational Excellence
Dr. Scheddin graduated from Rutgers University with his undergraduate degree in biological sciences. He completed his Master of Science at Drexel University College of Medicine. Continuing his path to dentistry, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. He relentlessly pursues knowledge and training with over 1000 hours of continuing education credits and an intensive one-year advanced training in full mouth rehabilitation with a focus on aesthetics. Over the years, he’s worked with top tier dental mentors on Fifth Avenue, New York City, and New Jersey and continues to sharpen his craft.

Dr. Scheddin loves spending family time with his wife (Marcella, who works behind the scenes at the practice), their son (Niccolo), and their two King Charles Cavaliers (Theodore and Cinnamon). His favorite quote and what he lives by is, “All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us” from J.R.R. Tolkien. He enjoys spending his time weightlifting, snowboarding, maintaining his 100 gallon saltwater aquarium, traveling, the mountains, fast cars, and caring for those around him.

Audra
Registered Dental Hygienist
Audra has been working in the world of dentistry for nearly 35 years, and she’s proud to say that she works for the most dedicated, skilled, and compassionate dentist ever! The best part of her job by far is that it feels like home. The amazing team members and wonderful patients all feel like family, and she makes it her mission to treat every new visitor with compassion and respect.
Audra and her husband Eddie have a daughter, Kayla, and a son, Matthew. Outside of working hours, she enjoys swimming, riding bikes, taking walks along the beautiful Jersey Shore, and trying new recipes in the kitchen with her family. Most Saturdays, you can find them cheering on Matthew at the football field and basketball court. She’s also always working on arts and crafts and loves putting together unique gifts to show others how special they are to her!
Kathleen
Registered Dental assistant
For Kathleen, the best part about being a dental assistant is getting to provide specific treatments for each unique patient so that their needs are met. She loves that Smile Studio of Spring Lake is a very progressive office that uses only the finest materials for an outstanding care experience! Her career in the dental world spans a full decade so far.
At home, Kathleen has two sons and a daughter. Everyone is very busy, but they all have a lot of love and support for one another and always look forward to spending time together. As for her own personal hobbies, she loves painting, restoring old furniture, and tackling other projects that give her the opportunity to be creative. You can also often find her working in the garden, bike riding, hiking, or (most recently) kayaking. Above all else, her goal is to leave something better than it was when she first started.
Inga
Registered Dental Assistant
Inga has been in the dental field for over 30 years. She started on the administrative side and now has experience with both the clinical and business aspects of dentistry. She loves being a part of our wonderful team at Smile Studio of Spring Lake and looks forward to serving our patients for years to come. Nothing makes her happier than helping people receive the care they desire and deserve.
Inga and her husband have been married for over 25 years, and they have three children. You’ll often find them cheering on their youngest at sporting events, and she also likes to relax by exercising and cooking.
